Ray Lucas, a 23-year-old dad from Michigan, became a hero when he saved his twin babies from a house fire. Ray and his girlfriend, Shi’Ann Brown, had gone to the store for a short trip. When they returned, they saw their home in flames.
Without wasting a second, Ray ran into the burning house to rescue his children. He later told CNN, “I didn’t think. I just acted. My only goal was to save my babies.” Thanks to his bravery, Ray was able to bring his children out safely, even though the situation was very dangerous. He said he believed any father would do the same for their children
