Tim Petit, from Middletown, Rhode Island, heard an ad about a $640 pink limited-edition Trump-themed watch from GetTrumpWatches.com. He decided to surprise his wife, Melanie, with it. As of Tuesday, Petit had been trying to reach the website’s owners several times but was not satisfied with the lack of response. However, after NBC10 reached out to the company’s customer service, things began to move.
In the end, Petit got the watch replaced. The company apologized and also offered him an $800 coupon for something else.
