As I removed the plastic wrapping, something strange caught my eye. Nestled among the fruit was a long, thin object. At first, I assumed it was a piece of string or leftover packaging material.

Once the panic passed, I placed the bag outside and contacted the store. They were stunned and promised to investigate. Animal control later removed the snake safely and released it far from homes.
That moment stayed with me. The strawberries had looked perfect, yet hid a startling surprise. Now, I inspect produce carefully, wash everything thoroughly, and never rush. Ordinary moments, I learned, can hold unforgettable surprises—and lasting lessons.
