Does anyone know? ㅤ ᅠㅤᅠ

Some adults are being quietly shamed for it. Others are flat-out refused service. All because they dare to ask for a smaller, cheaper “kids’ meal” instead of a towering entrée they don’t want. Is this about business… or about policing what grown‑ups are “allowed” to eat in public?

The quiet tension over adults ordering from kids’ menus isn’t really about chicken nuggets. It’s about dignity, money, and the simple wish to eat what feels right without being scolded for it. When an adult is told “that’s for children only,” the message isn’t just about policy; it’s about belonging. It suggests there is a narrow, approved way to be an adult in public, right down to what’s on your plate.

Yet there is a gentler, more human path. Restaurants can protect their margins and still treat customers like individuals—offering modest portions, flexible pricing, or “small plate” options without humiliation. Adults, in turn, can respect that businesses have limits. Somewhere between “anything goes” and “absolutely not” lies a simple compromise: let people choose food that fits their appetite, budget, and comfort. In that space, dinner becomes less of a battleground and more of a shared, gracious exhale.

She reflected on how she’s walked into auditions, delivered powerful performances, even secured the roles only to be told later the project was no longer interested. To her, it all leads back to the lie Tyler Perry spread, which she believes created the blackball that followed her throughout Hollywood. • My 12-Year-Old Son Gave All His Savings To A Homeless Man — The Next Day, We Received A Cake With A Gold Bar Inside And A Note My name is Rebecca, and my son Ethan turned twelve last Saturday. He’d been saving for almost two years, birthday cash, chore money, and every dollar from the lemonade stand he ran every summer, all of it going toward one goal: his very own guitar. That morning, he asked if we could finally go pick it out. He’d been dreaming about learning guitar for as long as I could remember. On our way into the music store, we passed a homeless man sitting against the wall with his dog curled up beside him. As we walked by, a few bills slipped out of Ethan’s jacket pocket without him noticing. “Hey, kid! You dropped your money!” the man called out. Ethan stopped, genuinely stunned. I think some part of him expected the man to just keep it, and the honesty caught him completely off guard. He walked over to thank him, and ended up sitting down and talking with him for almost twenty minutes, asking questions, listening to his story. By the end of it, Ethan pulled out his entire envelope of savings and handed it to him, guitar money and all. I cried right there on the sidewalk. I told Ethan I’d buy him the guitar myself instead, proud beyond words. The next afternoon, we were home when someone knocked on our door. I opened it to find a cake sitting on the porch, no one in sight, a note propped against the box. It read: “Happy birthday, kid. You earned it. Cut a slice.” We cut into it together, and inside, wrapped in plastic, was a real gold bar. We all just stared at it in stunned silence, until Ethan pointed out something engraved along the edge. I grabbed my glasses and leaned in to read it, and my eyes went wide before I even finished the first line.
