Early one morning, I walked into the bathroom and froze when I noticed a strange, twisted object lying on the cold floor. It looked dry, fragile, and completely out of place. For several minutes, I simply stared at it, wondering whether it could be an organ, a parasite, or something even more disturbing.
My cat was nearby, which somehow made the discovery feel even stranger. The ordinary bathroom suddenly seemed like the scene of something mysterious.
