There is an artificial lake in our village. While walking past it, I noticed these strange crater-like holes in the water, each containing what looked like eggs. I stood by the lake for quite a while, watching them and trying to figure out what animal they might belong to, but I couldn’t come up with an answer. Does anyone know whose eggs these are? A peaceful walk around a village’s artificial lake turned into an unexpected mystery when several unusual clusters of pale, round objects were spotted resting in shallow crater-like depressions beneath the water. The formations appeared neatly grouped together, leaving many visitors wondering what kind of creature could have left them there.

At first glance, some people believed the objects belonged to fish, while others suggested they might be from turtles or even a rare species of bird. The strange arrangement only added to the confusion, as the clusters seemed carefully placed rather than randomly scattered across the lakebed.

Curiosity grew as more residents stopped to inspect the mysterious eggs. The water was clear enough to reveal multiple groups spread throughout the shallow area. Because the lake was artificial and relatively young, many assumed the eggs had to belong to a species that had adapted to the environment surprisingly well.

The answer finally came from a local wildlife expert who examined the site. The clusters were identified as amphibian eggs, most likely laid by frogs or toads during their breeding season. The shallow depressions provided a protected environment where the eggs could develop safely before hatching into tadpoles.

Once the mystery was solved, the strange sight became a source of fascination rather than concern. What appeared at first to be something unusual or even alarming turned out to be a natural part of the lake’s ecosystem, showing that wildlife had successfully made the artificial habitat its home.
